Mana Telangana/Hyderabad: 82.77 percent pass rate has been recorded in Polyset conducted for admissions to Polytechnic Diploma courses in the state. On Friday, Technical Education Commissioner Naveen Mittal released the results of PALISET 2023. 98,273 (92.94 percent) candidates appeared for this examination conducted on May 17. Out of them, 80,752 (82.77 percent) passed. Among them, 54,700 were boys and 43,573 were girls. This examination is conducted for admissions to engineering and non-engineering diploma courses as well as agriculture, horticulture and veterinary diploma courses in government and private polytechnic colleges of the state.
30 percent marks out of 120 marks i.e. 36 marks have to be obtained in Polyset. SC and ST students need to score one mark to pass. In the MPC section of Polyset, Surabhi Saranya from Suryapet secured the first rank with 119 marks, Sheikh Abubakar Siddique secured the second rank with 119 marks and Priyansh Kumar of Gaudicherla from Kaudipally secured the third rank with 118 marks. Also, in the state level MBYPC category, Chirla Akash from Jayashankar Bhupalappalli district got the first rank with 116 marks, Miriyala Akshaya Tara from Suryapet got the second rank with 116, Kairosu Sasivadhan from Suryapet got the third rank with 116 and Kanna Ujwan got the 4th rank with 116 marks.
Policyet Counseling from June 14
Counseling for admissions in polytechnic colleges will start from June 14. Naveen Mittal, convenor of Polyset admissions, said that students should pay the processing fee and book the slot from 14th to 17th of next month. It is mentioned that the certificate verification will be from 16th to 18th June and students can register online options till 21st. It has been revealed that the first batch of seats will be allotted on or before the 25th of next month. He said that the final phase of policyset counseling will start from 1st July.
