Hyderabad: The Chief Minister KCR government is working hard for the development of BC. Recently, the government has sanctioned 17 new BC Gurukula degree colleges. BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar expressed happiness over the sanctioning of new degree colleges. Chief Minister thanked KCR. Best wishes to the BC community in the state. Chief Secretary of BC Welfare Department Burra Venkatesham said that all steps are being taken with the directives of Chief Minister KCR and Minister Gangula Kamalakar to start classes from this academic year by granting administrative permissions to the newly sanctioned BC Gurukula Degree Colleges soon.
Minister Gangula Kamalakar said that in addition to Vargal College, 15 new Gurukula Degree Colleges were established in the academic year 2022-23 and classes were started, including two Agriculture Degree Colleges. He said that this is proof that the government is working sincerely towards the goal of providing quality education to BCs. He said that 33 new gurukulas were started in the newly formed districts in the last academic year.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister KCR, Swarashtra is achieving a golden era in the lives of BCs who were pushed back due to the negligence of the previous rulers. He said that in the past only 19 gurukulas and only 7 thousand students were receiving gurukul education, KCR government has increased the number of gurukulas to 261 gradually, then to 310 and with today’s increase to 327. He said that more than 1 lakh 68 thousand children of Chiluku BC who studied in English medium every year in BC Gurukuls are happy to show their ability in all competitive exams and fly the flag of Telangana glory in various ways.
He said that the KCR government is spending thousands of crores for the welfare of the backward communities at the auspicious time of the decade celebrations. He said that the government is providing free electricity to Rajakus and Naibrahmans up to 250 units and is providing assistance of one lakh rupees for encouraging artisan castes. He once again thanked the Chief Minister KCR for his constant support for the welfare of the backward classes.
