Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar has reviewed the arrangements for the state Emergence Day celebrations. He watched the full dress rehearsal parade on Tuesday at the Nampally Public Garden. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao will unveil the national flag at the Public Garden on June 2 to mark the Telangana State Emergence Day. On this occasion, after paying tributes to the martyrs at the Telangana Martyrs’ Stupa at Gunpark, they will reach the Public Garden and receive the salute of the police forces. The Chief Minister will then address the gathering. Somesh Kumar reviewed the full rehearsal for these programs. CS said the celebrations, which are being held two years later due to Kovid, are highly organized. The function was attended by DGP Mahender Reddy, Special Secretary to the Municipal Department Arvind Kumar, Special Secretary to the Energy Department Sunil Sharma, Political Secretary Seshadri, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, Jalmandali MD Danakishore, senior police officials and various officials.
