Mana Telangana/Hyderabad: Telangana High Court on Wednesday granted conditional bail to suspended former CI Mared Pally Nageswara Rao. It is known that former CI Nageswara Rao was arrested by the police in kidnapping and rape cases. Nageswara Rao’s bail petition was rejected by the High Court twice in the past. However, on Wednesday, the High Court granted conditional bail to Nageswara Rao. On July 7 this year, Nageswara Rao went to a married woman’s house in Hastinapuram, Hyderabad city and raped her. The victim complained to the police that she was raped by a revolver. It is stated in the complaint given to the police that he also attacked the husband who came home at the same time. While taking the duo to his farm, the car met with an accident near Ibrahimpatnam.

The victim escaped from the accident and her husband lodged a complaint with the Vanasthalipuram police. As a case was registered against Nageswara Rao, Hyderabad CP Anand issued orders imposing suspension on him. Nageswara Rao’s remand report has also revealed key facts. In the remand report, the police stated that they used mobile tracking technology to find out if the victim’s husband was at home. Finding that the victim’s husband was not at home, he went to her house and raped her.

Nageswara Rao, who was arrested in this case, tried to get bail. Twice he filed a bail petition in the High Court. However, the High Court rejected his bail pleas. On Wednesday, bail was granted with conditions. It was also ordered to give a surety bond of one lakh rupees. It is known that PCC chief Revanth Reddy had previously accused Nageswara Rao of having relations with key leaders of the ruling party.
