Hyderabad: State Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy and State Power Minister G. Jagadish Reddy welcomed the State Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao who reached the helipad to inspect the progress of the Yadadri Thermal Power Plant in Veerlapalem village of Damaracharla mandal of Nalgonda district.

On this occasion, the CM reached the Yadadri Ultra Mega Thermal Power Plant being constructed in Damarachar and inquired about the construction works of the plant there. After that, the CM inspected the progress of the plant works through an aerial view along with the Minister of Electricity Jagdish Reddy and the senior officials of the department. The CM is examining 5 units that will generate 4,000 megawatts of electricity at a cost of Rs.29,965 crore.
