Hyderabad : Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and DGP Anjani Kumar paid a courtesy call on National Commission for Backward Commission Chairman Hansraj Gangaram Ahir on Tuesday morning. CS Shanti Kumari met Hansraj Gangaram, who came to Hyderabad for a one-day visit, at Harita Plaza and explained the various development and welfare schemes being implemented for the poor and weaker sections of the Telangana state. CS explained to the BC Commission Chairman about the implementation of reservation and reservation roster for OBCs in Telangana state.
Director General of Police Anjani Kumar explained the activities of “She Teams” organized for the safety of women in the state to the Chairman of the Commission. He explained to him the various programs undertaken by the police department for peace and security in the state, the measures taken for the welfare of the police in the department and the procedures being implemented.
