Hyderabad: Chairman of Telangana Sahitya Akademi Juluru Gaurishankar said that CM KCR has the credit of establishing one BC Gurukula degree colleges in the district like nowhere else in the country’s history. In the history of the country, no government has opened such a large number of degree colleges for BC students, and this will go down in history as a work done by KCR’s visionary ideas, the statement issued on Wednesday said. It is a revolution in the history of education to establish a special Gurukula education system for BCs who are more than half of the country’s population and to establish more than 327 inter and degree schools in the state. He said that by establishing 33 BC degree colleges in 33 districts, Telangana will remain a role model for the country.
He said that he is indebted to KCR, who is implementing the ideas of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule. BCs, MBCs, BC children belonging to nomadic tribes said that these Gurukulas will be the foundations to compete in the advanced world of tomorrow. He said that the sunrises of BC knowledge that affect all fields emanate from these Gurukuls. They raised their voices and expressed their pain that no government has paid attention to our demand for education, no matter how much the children of BC have complained. He described that KCR has done what no government could do in a century, and establishing 1018 gurukulas for the children of BC, SC, ST and minority communities is a feat that can only be done by Sambura.
He said that 1,68,000 BC children who are studying in gurukuls, who are suffering from many traps and scams, will celebrate the grant of 17 more degree colleges as the education day. Juluru asked KCR to be blessed with the blessings of the Sahasra BC professions.
