Engineering classes from 1

Hyderabad: First year engineering classes in the state will start from December 1. The scheduled classes will start as per the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which is scheduled to start engineering classes by December 1. Amset Counseling conducted for admissions in engineering colleges has recently come to an end. The reporting deadline for students who have secured seats has also expired. Universities are getting ready to start classes in this context. While 79,856 engineering seats are available in the convener quota in 175 colleges during the current academic year, 22,279 seats remain vacant after the allocation of seats in Amset final installment and special installment counseling. Allocation of seats in engineering colleges 100 per cent seats have been allotted in 9 colleges in the state. One university, 8 private colleges have been allotted 100 per cent seats. This time zero admissions were registered in one college.
