Eluru Fire Accident: Victims say the accident was caused by negligence on the part of the owner. It is alleged that the sugar factory was turned into a chemical industry. They say they did not care even after the accident .. at least they did not even call an ambulance.

A fire broke out at a porous chemical factory in Akkireddygudem in Musunur zone on Wednesday night. Six people have died so far in the crash. Another 13 were seriously injured.   He was rushed to a government hospital in Vijayawada for treatment. The condition of many of the victims is critical. While making powder used in the manufacture of medicine in Unit-4 of the Porous Factory .. Gas Leakage happened at 11 o’clock at night. The reactor then exploded and a large-scale fire broke out. Workers working there were run out. Others were trapped inside. Both floors were completely burned. Large scale fires .. with thick smoke .. those present could not breathe. A total of 150 people were reported to be on duty at the time of the accident. However, eyewitnesses said that there were 30 workers in the unit where the accident took place.

Five workers died on the spot while other were rushed to hospital. The victims were first rushed to Noojeedu Hospital. From there they were taken to Vijayawada for better treatment. Four of the dead Bihar. The workers are dead. Receiving the information, firefighters rushed to the scene and put out the blaze. The district SP is also going there and reviewing the situation. NDRF teams were also involved in the relief efforts. Victims are voicing that the accident was caused by the negligence of the owner. It is alleged that the sugar factory was turned into a chemical industry. They say they did not care even after the accident .. at least they did not even call an ambulance. The workers are angry that the victims have been shifted to a government hospital, saying they will be treated at a multi-specialty hospital.

The Vijayawada government hospital  Superintendent said that five of the patients were in critical condition. More than 70 percent of the 12 people revealed that their bodies were burned. They were told they were being treated in the ICU. Authorities are investigating the incident. What caused the actual fire? Why did the gas leak? Is it human error? Or is it a technical problem? That’s it. Tragic shadows fell over their families as six workers died in the accident. Authorities informed their family members that four Bihar residents were among the dead.
