Hyderabad: TSPSC is making arrangements to conduct the preliminary examination on June 11 as per the already announced schedule in the wake of the High Court’s refusal to stay the conduct of Group-1 preliminary in the state. The hall tickets will be issued a week before the exam date. It is learned that it has been decided to conduct the Group-1 preliminary examination using OMR method.
While TSPSC released the notification in April last year with the highest number of 503 jobs under Telangana’s first group-1, 3.8 lakh job seekers applied across the state. 2.85 lakh appeared for the preliminary examination held on October 16. In the wake of the leak of TSPSC question papers, the exam was canceled and re-conducted on June 11.
But recently some candidates filed a petition in the High Court to postpone the exam. The High Court refused the adjournment. With this, the commission is working to conduct the examination as usual.
