Mana Telangana/Hyderabad : Moderate to heavy rains are occurring across the state under the influence of surface low pressure. Hail rains occurred in many places on Saturday. Hyderabad Meteorological Center revealed that the trough from South Tamil Nadu to North Konkan is continuing at a height of 0.9 km above the sea level from Tamil Nadu through Rayalaseema, Telangana and Vidarbha. Yellow alert has been issued for the entire state of Telangana as there is a possibility of thunder, lightning and gusty winds in many districts on Sunday as well.
Thunderstorms and lightning with a speed of 50 to 40 meters per hour in Jagityala, Rajanna Sirisilla, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Warangal, Janagama, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Vikarabad, Nagarkurnool, Hyderabad, Narayanapet, Gadwala, Nagar Kurnool and other districts of the state. Rains with gusty winds are likely. In the next 48 hours, the sky will be cloudy and the weather will be overcast. It is said that there is a possibility of gusty winds of 50 km per hour and heavy rains. Heavy rains are likely to occur in Greater Hyderabad for the next three days, it said.

The Meteorological Center revealed that an average rainfall of 31.7 mm has been recorded in the state in the last 24 hours. 32.8 mm in Bhadrachalam, 5.8 in Dundigal, 34.6 in Hakeempet, 4 in Hanumakonda, 31.7 in Hyderabad, 17.6 in Khammam, 5.6 in Mahbubnagar, 6 in Medak, 6 in Nizamabad, 1.8 in Nizamabad, 15.4 in Patancheru, 35.0 in Rajendranagar.
