Mumbai: A Hyderabadi was taken into custody by the Mumbai police. He was arrested on charges of threatening to rape the 9-year-old daughter of an Indian cricketer. He seems to have done this because of India’s defeat to Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. He was identified by the police as Ramnagesh Alibati. It is learned that he is an IT engineer from Telangana and he has also quit his job to do Ph.D. A police officer working at a cyber police station in Bandra (East) BKC told an English journalist about this. It is learned that the officer also wanted his name not to be revealed. The cricketer was arrested in Hyderabad for threatening to rape a child on social media, but details will be revealed later, Mumbai police said.
