Mahbubnagar: State Excise, Sports, Culture and Tourism Minister Dr. V. Srinivas Goud said that anything can be achieved with hard work and perseverance. On Tuesday, he was the chief guest at the function of the professional skill certificates for the trainees of the vocational skill development training center under the auspices of the district sports and youth services department at the Zilla Parishad meeting hall and presented the diplomas.

On this occasion, the minister said that in Mahbubnagar district also in Mahbubnagar district, training programs have been set up for the unemployed youth through SETWIN and with the intention of providing job and employment opportunities, a training institute like NYAC has been set up four years ago. He said that about 15 batches were trained in the district and more than 2000 candidates were trained.

He said that the trained unemployed youth can get jobs in the respective professions as well as business. The Minister requested that training in the fields of tailoring, stitching, lab technician, mobile repair, AC etc. is being done and they should be trained with good skills in all these and provide job opportunities. The minister revealed that all those who have received training in the district will be given large-scale jobs in the district and factories that will provide jobs to around 40,000 people will be set up in the IT corridor. He said that big industries are coming to the district, so the youth should get trained in some trade so that they don’t remain idle.

He said that in Mahabubnagar district, drinking water used to come once in 14 days, roads, hospitals and sanitation were poor, now they are building advanced hospitals, super specialty hospital along with Mission Bhagiratha drinking water every day, bypass roads, schools, hostels, colleges and medical colleges have all been provided. He said that besides direct employment, thousands of people will get employment indirectly due to the establishment of industries. He called for the children of poor middle class families to receive government training and to provide financial support to the families through perseverance and hard work.

He said that Telangana is the leading state in the country, we provide most of the GDP, especially Telangana is the state that collects most of the rice grain for the Food Corporation of India. Apart from these, the state government is implementing many wonderful programs like Kanti Velak, KCR Kit, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak and pensions, the minister said. Zilla Parishad Chairperson Swarna Sudhakar Reddy, District SP K. Narasimha, Device O Srinivasulu, SETMA Manager Vijayakumar, Councilor Praveen and others participated in this program.
