Our Telangana / Hyderabad : The government has decided to start 17 new residential degree colleges in the next academic year. A decision to this effect was taken in the cabinet meeting held yesterday. The government has already taken a policy decision to set up residential degree colleges in all 33 districts. In the last academic year, Residential Degree Colleges were established in 16 districts and a decision was taken to establish Residential Degree Colleges in the remaining 17 districts.
Orders in this regard will come soon. While the authorities have made all arrangements for the distribution of waste lands. As of May 23, 12 lakh 50 thousand 12 beneficiaries have claimed for waste lands in all 26 districts of the state. Arrangements have been made for the distribution of a total of 4 lakh 5 thousand 601 acres of fallow land.
