Hyderabad: The government has decided to remove the plots, vacant lots, houses and agricultural lands from the prohibited list. In this context, the government has suggested to take action based on the report given by the authorities in this regard. It is in this context that the Collectors of all the districts have taken action. Officials are reviewing the list of prohibited items included in the card as people have complained to the government in large numbers to remove their properties from the prohibited list.
For this, a committee comprising District Collectors, Additional Collectors, RDOs, Tehsildars, Deputy Tehsildars and Sub Registrars conducted a review. For what reasons are these included in the banned list? Are there any court cases! What do those cases say? What is the need to put the lands in the prohibited list? What are the reasons for removing the land from the list? But all the records from Khasra to Pahani are kept close and the respective numbers are removed from the banned list.
Prohibited in ‘Card’, pass book in Dharani
Stamps and Registration Department is implementing complete computerization of the land registration (card system). But till September 2020 all agricultural land registration is done through Card (Sub Registrars) website and from October 2020 through Dharani website (Tehsildars). But while many lands are in the card system’s prohibited list, in Dharani they are patta lands, and the pattadaru pass books are not only given to those lands, but Rythu Bandhu is also received. However, objections have been raised about allowing transactions in Dharani by placing it on the prohibited list in the card. With that, the government took up the task of reviewing the lands included in the card website.
Government lands as well as private lands.
Some survey numbers were blacklisted when Dharani launched the website. Government land, endowment, bhudan lands, Gramkantham, offices, central and state government lands, railway track constructions, Sikhum land, forest lands, Poramboku, barren and ceiling lands in relation to ponds are placed in this prohibited list. But in addition to these, private lands are also included in this list. These lists are made available at Collectorate, RDO and Sub Registration Offices.
Heavy complaints for two years
Since then, people are struggling to sell their plots, houses, vacant lots and agricultural lands. As the government has been receiving huge complaints about this for two years, the officials have brought this matter to the attention of the government. Officials of the Stamps and Registration Department have also submitted a report to the government. On the basis of this report, the survey numbers, plot numbers and house numbers included in the prohibited list have been reviewed and the officials have been instructed to immediately remove them from the prohibited list and the officials are working towards that. Officials claim that most of the properties belonging to Vikarabad, Mahbubnagar, Jogulamba Gadwala, Nagar Kurnool, Kamareddy, Mulugu, Sangareddy, Rangareddy and Medchal districts are in this prohibited list.
