The public transport facility should not be obstructed under any circumstances
Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy in the review of officials

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy has directed the officials to take up the repairs of the damaged roads immediately and not to disturb the public transport facility under any circumstances. Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy on Monday held a review in his chamber in the Secretariat with the officials of the Roads and Buildings Department regarding the repairs of the roads under the jurisdiction of the R&B Department which were damaged due to heavy rains and floods.

On this occasion, Minister Vemula said that the repairs of the roads should be completed on a war footing. He suggested that the government has specially made funds available for the level officer from DE onwards and these funds should be spent for immediate repairs as per the local conditions. On this occasion, the Minister made it clear to the officials that the public transport facility should not be hindered under any circumstances. The minister reminded that CM KCR had taken a revolutionary decision in restructuring the R&B department by giving the authority of administrative permissions even to the field level officer. DE has Rs. 2 lakhs, EE Rs.25 lakhs, SE Rs. 50 lakhs, CE crores and funds up to Rs.20 crores for ENC should be used for immediate repairs of roads. R&B Secretary Srinivasa Raju, ENC Ravinder Rao, CEs Satish, Mohan Naik, SEs Mohan, Srinivasa Rao and others participated in this meeting.
