Hyderabad: In the last five years, Telangana State has made excellent progress in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has revealed the same in its report, said the Vice Chairman of the State Planning Commission Boinapally Vinod Kumar. Vinod Kumar reacted to the achievements of the state in the context of RBI and Telangana’s progress report. He released a statement to this effect. RBI said that Telangana state has created wealth worth Rs.1 lakh 81 thousand (Rs.1.81 lakh) crore rupees in five years only in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries. Vinod Kumar reminded the said matter on this occasion. Telangana state’s economic progress in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries is a record at the national level, RBI said. Vinod Kumar explained that it is a matter of pride for everyone in Telangana state. Vinod Kumar said that this is a proof of the dedication and sincerity of the Telangana state government. Vinod Kumar explained that the reason for increasing the wealth of Rs.95 thousand crores five years ago and now Rs.1.81 lakh crores is because of the Telangana government’s actions, as revealed by the Reserve Bank of India in the handbook.
Vinod Kumar said that the value of the products of these three sectors, which was Rs.95,098 crore in 2017-18, has increased to Rs.1,81,702 crore by 2021-22. Vinod Kumar said that RBI has said that the value of this wealth has increased by Rs.86,604 crores in the last five years, which is not seen in any other state, and the significant growth in these three sectors has been possible due to the revolutionary measures of the Telangana government. Vinod Kumar stated that the Telangana government has focused on the development of these three sectors since the formation of Swarashtra Telangana and has spent lakhs of crores of funds for that purpose. He said that every year the state government spends Rs.10 thousand crores to provide free electricity to agriculture. So far, Rs.353 crores have been spent and 425 crore fish fry have been distributed free of cost, in six years Rs. Vinod Kumar said that it has created wealth of 26 thousand crores.
Vinod Kumar said that as the state government is implementing Haritaharam program for Telangana to achieve greenery in the state, the percentage of forests in the state has increased and the state has become leafy green. Vinod Kumar revealed that KCR, who traveled extensively throughout the state from 2001 to 2014 for the achievement of Telangana Swarashtra and thoroughly studied the economic and social conditions of the people, has initiated revolutionary changes in the state and is achieving results after taking charge as the Chief Minister.
