Hyderabad: Former Legislative Council chairman MLC Gutta Sukhender Reddy has criticized the state government for not buying the grain harvested by the farmers during the six winters, but the farmers are suffering due to lack of support from the central government agency FCI. He explained that the main reason was that the rice in the FCI warehouses was not being supplied to other states with railway wagons which was not enough for the rice purchased in the state last Rabi. He was speaking at a media conference in Nallagonda on Wednesday. Gutta said farmers were suffering from unseasonal rains due to the accumulation of rice stocks near government warehouses and the lack of space near the millers to store the grain they are currently buying. BJP leaders demanded that the central government put pressure on them to make a statement in the current parliament.

State BJP leaders have accused CM KCR of being a farmer’s killer, commenting that the people know who the people of the country and the peasantry are. The BJP government, which has been harassing farmers for the past year by enacting anti-farmer agricultural laws, has been blamed for causing the deaths of 750 farmers. Meanwhile, Union Minister Kishan Reddy and state BJP president Bandi Sanjay have spoken to their government in Parliament, urging them to clarify the central government’s stance on grain procurement and work towards making a statement in Parliament. Win Kotireddy in council elections. He urged ZPTC members, MPTC members and municipal councilors to defeat MC Koti Reddy, who is contesting on behalf of the TRS party, by an overwhelming majority in the local body elections to be held on the 10th of this month.

He reminded that KCR was at the forefront of protecting the rights of local bodies. Earlier, the Center used to release 50 per cent of its funds to Gram Panchayats, 30 per cent to Mandal Parishads and 20 per cent to Zilla Parishads, but the present Central Government provides 100 per cent to Gram Panchayats. He said the state government had fought with the Center to release funds to 10 per cent Mandal Parishads and 10 per cent Zilla Parishads. He once again thanked CM KCR for giving him a second chance as a member of the Legislative Council. Miryalaguda legislators Bhaskara Rao, Nallagonda Zilla Parishad chairman Banda Narender Reddy and Nallagonda ZDP TRS floor leader Pasham Ramreddy were present at the press conference.
