The central government is about to embark on another crucial decision. The decision will benefit 11.56 lakh central employees. From January 2022, an exercise was launched to increase the HRA (House Rent Allowance) for Central Government Employees. HRA will increase. IRTASA has given the central green signal for HRA hike in the wake of demand from NFIR employees.

However, the cities will be divided into three sections, X, Y and Z, with Rs 5,400 for X, Rs 3,600 for Y and Rs 1,800 for JD. As a result, HRA will increase by 27 per cent for ex-employees, 19 per cent for Ys and 9 per cent for JDs.
