Yellow alert issued for seven districts

Hyderabad: Southwest Monsoon has swept across Telangana. The atmosphere in the state has changed once. Cold winds have been blowing since morning. The sun that had been shining for more than a hundred days disappeared. The daytime temperatures suddenly dropped. Ooty, Kodaikanal and other Udaka mandals of Telangana are facing cold weather. People who are not boiled by high temperatures are being soothed by the cold weather. The Hyderabad Meteorological Center revealed that the southwest monsoon has spread over the entire state.

Monsoon, which entered Khammam district on the 22nd of this month, spread to other parts of Telangana on Friday. By Saturday, they spread across the state. On the other hand, the surface circulation remained stable near Odisha and West Bengal coasts in the northwest Bay of Bengal up to 7.6 km above the mean sea level, while the upwelling wave continued to bend towards the south-west direction, the Meteorological Center revealed. It said that there is a possibility of thunder and lightening rains in Telangana state for the next three days. Komarambhim, Manchiryala, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Warangal and Hanmakonda districts are likely to receive heavy rains. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts.

Special weather forecast has been issued for Greater Hyderabad city and surrounding areas. The sky will be mostly cloudy for the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the city. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in some areas. The maximum temperature is 31 degrees and the minimum is 23 degrees, Hyderabad Meteorological Center has revealed.

Due to the influence of South West Monsoon, the state is receiving abundant rains. On Saturday, 62 mm of rain fell in Rampur, Thoguta mandal of Saddipet district. There was heavy rain in the rest of the areas as well. 48.8 in Muttara, 46.8 in Ellanki, 44.8 in Krishna, 42.8 in Musta, 41.3 in Narsapur, 40.5 in Komuravelli, 39.5 in Kondapur, 39.5 in Sarvaipet, 37.8 in Cheekode, 37 in Lakmapur, 36.8 in Kamareddy, 36.8 in Modampally 36.5, 36.3 in Menur, 35.5 in Ootkur, 34.5 in Mallaram, 34 in Kaudipalli, 33.5 in Muttara. , Jambuga received 32. mm rainfall. Moderate to light showers also occurred in the rest of the areas.
