Meteorological department has said that Telangana will receive heavy rains for the next five days. Heavy rain is likely in 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of hailstorm again on 25th, 26th and 27th of this month. It is said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in the north and north-eastern districts of Telangana. Thunder and lightening rains will occur across the state. Southwest Monsoon which entered the state on 22nd of this month under the influence of low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal spread across the state.

Meteorological department has announced yellow alert for eight districts of North Telangana. Yellow alert has been issued in Komaram Bheem, Nirmala, Jagityala, Manchiryala, Karimnagar, Rajannasirisilla, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts. Moderate to heavy rain forecast in Hyderabad. Weather during the day is normal. The weather changes in the evening.

The Meteorological Department explained that the low pressure will continue over Telangana to South Jharkhand at a height of 1.5 km above sea level. Farmers have already suffered severely due to hailstorm in many districts of the state. Thousands of crops were damaged. Maize, rice, mango and chilli farmers have suffered a lot. Farmers are worried as the meteorological department has warned that there is a chance of hail again
