Government’s decision in the context of expansion of IT sector
Hyderabad: It has been learned that some changes and additions will be made in the construction of the Metro which will be extended from Rayadurgam to Shamshabad Airport (31 km). The government has decided to extend the Metro to Shamshabad Airport as a continuation of Nagol-to Rayadurgam Corridor 3. In this context, the state government will extend the metro from Raydurgam to Shamshabad Airport for 31 kilometers with its own funds and connect it with the airport. The state government will complete this project with a total cost of Rs.6,250 crore within three years with its own funds. While CM KCR laid the foundation stone of this metro line on 9th December last year, now it is reported that the government has decided to extend this alignment to Tukkuguda ORR. It is known that the government has taken this decision to overcome this traffic problem in the coming days and bring more growth in the IT sector in the future.

On the construction of metro line up to the interchange….
It is learned that the officials have also decided to study the construction of metro line through Shamshabad Outer Ring Road to Tukkuguda ORR (Outer Ring Road) Interchange as an extension of Hyderabad Airport Metro Line. Companies like Hardware Park, E-City, Rangareddy Collectorate, Pharmacy, Amazon Data Center have expanded their companies in South Zone like Shamshabad, Tukkuguda, Maheshwaram, Adibhatla. As these areas are developing step by step, the government hopes that the metro will become a project to meet the future public transport needs by increasing the connectivity of the metro line from the city and the IT sector will expand further.
