Congratulations to Women Staff in Jala Mandali

Hyderabad: Jalmandali MD Danakishore said that the civilization of a country is known by the respect it gives to its women. Women’s Welfare Day was celebrated on Tuesday as part of Telangana state’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Speaking as the chief guest at the event held at the head office in Khairatabad, he said that the role of women inside and outside the home is very important. He praised that it is possible for them to move forward while coordinating the family and the job.

It is stated that women were given the right to vote in the early days of independence in our country. He opined that there have been many changes in recent times and some more are needed. He explained that we all have a responsibility to respect women who work amidst many difficulties. It is suggested to give the same respect to women in the office as we do to women in our homes. Around 600 women employees are working in various positions under the water board. About 50 of them were selected and on the occasion of this Women’s Welfare Day, they were honored with a shawl and presented with a plaque.

In this program, ED Dr. M. Satyanarayana, Project Director Sridhar Babu, Revenue Director V.L. Praveen Kumar, Operations Director-2 Swamy, Technical Director Ravi Kumar, CGMs Mohammed Abdul Khader, Dasharath Reddy, Vinod Bhargav, Vijay Rao, T.V. Sridhar, Prabhu, Padmaja, Sujatha, Nagendrakumar, Anandanaik, Sudarshan, Amarender Reddy, Water Work Employees Union Association Telangana presidents Rambabu Yadav, Rajireddy, Jehangir, Jayaraj female employees and others participated.
