HAML, MD, NVS Reddy said in a statement that Sisthra, Wrights and DB Engineering Consortium have been selected as General Engineering Consultants for Mana Airport Metro. He mentioned that the three companies in this consortium are renowned as companies with special experience in the field of public transport, especially in the management of metro trains. He said that Sisthra company – belongs to France, Wrights is related to Indian Railways, and DB- company is famous as the leading engineering giants from Germany. He said that there are five international consortia for the General Consultant M Pika. Meanwhile, the consortium led by Sisthra emerged as the winner.

Apart from getting high technical marks, this consortium will provide engineering consultancy services at a cost of Rs. Reddy said that 98.54 crores was quoted, which was less than other companies participating in the competition. He said that this consortium will provide 18 engineering experts who are proficient in various departments of Metro Railway and another 70 senior engineers and other staff at the field level in the construction of Hyderabad Airport Metro.

The Sisthra-led consortium was selected after considering the technical capability and experience of the five international consortia that participated in this competition. A special high level committee has been formed for this purpose. Chief Secretary Finance Department K. Ramakrishna Rao, HMDA Commissioner Arvind Kumar, HAML, MD, are members of this committee. NVS Reddy said that this engineering consultancy firm will start its work immediately and will soon prepare the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) tender documents required for the construction of Airport Metro.
